Export Freight Services

Remarketing Solutions International (RSI) specializes in the packaging and shipment of export printers and copiers to countries around the globe.  We have a database of reputable and cost-effective freight forwarding companies that will ensure your shipment arrives overseas in a timely manner.  Our fulfillment centers located in Connecticut, Tennessee, and Florida are capable of managing both export live loads and drop shipments. If you choose to purchase machines from all three locations we can consolidate them for you at one fulfillment center using our domestic freight pricing and services.

In addition, we will manage all export filing and documentation to streamline the process.

These services include:

  • Ocean freight
  • Inland trucking
  • Filing of shipper’s letter of instruction (SLI) and shipper’s export declaration (SED)
  • Filing of export bill of lading
  • Communication with overseas agent to ensure customs clearance

RSI will provide all the materials and labor so that your container will be properly packaged, decked, and secured for safe vessel transport. Each machine is individually bubble wrapped to protect them during transit. Our skilled team will also build a secure, double stacked frame inside the container to maximize the safety and portability of the container. We offer services for 20 foot containers and 40 foot containers. If you are interested in discussing our competitive rates simply provide us with your requirements such as container size, target load date, and port of destination. Please specify if your port of destination requires heat-treated wood, and we will supply that as well. We can also provide insurance upon request. Please be sure to communicate this information when requesting your quote.

If you currently work with your own freight forwarding company, you can also schedule your shipment directly through them. They will need to contact our Order Management department to secure a dock time for the load. Once your container is loaded, RSI will provide your freight forwarder with a final invoice, piece count, container number, and seal number. This will allow them to handle your export filing. RSI does not provide any additional export documentation when export shipments are scheduled through a third party forwarding company. You and your forwarder will be solely responsible for all export filing if you choose to waive RSI’s freight forwarding services in lieu of your own.
